A Bite of the Big Apple

Welcome to New York! On arrival at JFK, Newark or La Guardia airports, transfer to the Waldorf Astoria New York on fabled Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. Early evening, join your Tour Director for a Welcome Reception, drinks and dinner. In the morning a guided sightseeing tour shows you the Statue of Liberty from Battery Park, the Empire State and Chrysler Buildings, and Central Park. Then view the city skyline from a different perspective as you ascend 70 stories to the Top of the Rock observation deck. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.

Newport and Boston

Journey to Newport, Rhode Island to visit The Breakers, the grand ‘summer cottage’ of Cornelius Vanderbilt. Continue to Boston for two nights. In the morning a historical sightseeing tour shows you Back Bay, Bunker Hill and several stops along Boston’s famed Freedom Trail. Then enjoy a visit led by your Tour Director of prestigious Harvard University. Relax and linger over a delicious four-course dinner at a local restaurant tonight.

Exploring the Streets of Philadelphia

Set out for Philadelphia, to explore the Independence National Historic Park and its many historic attractions. View Independence Hall, where America’s founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence and the giant cracked Liberty Bell. Check into your five-star, luxury hotel, in the heart of Philadelphia. Tonight, dine at one of the city’s popular restaurants, complete with wine and relaxed atmosphere.

Monumental Washington, D.C.

Depart for Baltimore where you visit the historic Inner Harbor and afternoon where the rest of the day is at leisure. Visit the World War II and Lincoln Memorials as well as Arlington National Cemetery, final resting place of America’s patriot’s. This evening, join your Tour Director for a finalé Celebration Dinner at one of D.C.’s prized restaurants.

This morning , your coach calls into both of Washington D.C.’s Airport’s where you can opt to leave the tour, or continue onto New York City with a departure transfer to JFK Airport or the tour hotel for guests wishing to extend their stay. Please do not schedule flights before 7 p.m.
