WUHAN – XIANGYANG – MT WUDANG

After breakfast, visit Yellow Crane Tower (including tram ride), one of the three most famous ancient towers in China. Next, proceed to Xiangyang to visit Ancient Longzhong and Ancient City Wall of Xiangyang. Ancient Longzhong was where Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei famously paid three visits to Zhuge Liang during the Warring State and Zhuge Liang used to reside. Next, proceed to Mt Wudang and check into the hotel after dinner.

MT WUDANG

This morning, we will coach to Mt Wudang and escalate the mountain by electric tram. Ascend to the Golden Peak by cable car and be captivated by a majestic view of numerous peaks and streams. After lunch, visit Nanyan Palace, where scenes from the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon were filmed. Thereafter, visit Taizi Po Scenic Area where the prince of Pure Pleasure State resided at while nurturing his will and power at the age of 15. He would later become Xuanwu Emperor. Next, visit the well-preserved and magnificent Zixiao Palace.

MT WUDANG – DANGYANG – YICHANG

After breakfast, proceed to Dangyang and visit The Temple of Guan Yu, the rumoured burial ground of Guan Yu. Next, visit ChangBan Slope, one of the ancient battlefields in the era of the Three Kingdoms. Next, head over to Yichang and board the cruise after dinner.

THE THREE GORGES YANGTZE RIVER

This morning, the ship will passerby the Xiling Gorge, you may join the optional tour presented by the cruise to visit the People of Three Gorges or the Bamboo Forest of the Three Gorges at your own expense. We will visit the Three Gorges Dam (tram ride included) which is the largest irrigation project in the world. Upon returning to the ship, it will go through the Five Ship Locks. This evening you may dress up for the Captain’s Welcome Party.

This morning, the ship will passerby the Wu Gorge where you will see the Fairy Peak and arrive at the Wushan County. After breakfast, we will take a boat ride along the beautifully the Shennv River. In the afternoon, the ship will passerby the spectacular Qutang Gorge, you may join the optional tour to visit the Baidi City at your own expense. We may enjoy the Cultural Show on board this evening.

This morning, the ship will arrive at Zhong County, we will visit the Shibao Stockade which is known as the Pearl of Yangtze River. It’s the largest and the most layered wooden structure architecture existence in China, hence, it’s known as one of the “8 World Wonders Architecture”. This evening we will have a Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

After breakfast, we will arrive in Chongqing and will leave the cruise after breakfast. We will visit Hongyadong Scenic Area, Huguang Museum, Bashu Art Gallery. After lunch, continue to Jiefangbei Shopping District for some free and easy shopping. Today, dinner will be at your own expense.
