DAY 1 |
SINGAPORE - SHANGHAI – SHAOXING
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, we will coach to Shaoxing and will visit the Cangqiao Ancient Street. The Cangqiao Straight Street is Ancient Street of this ancient city that features with traditional residential, commercial, historical and tourisms. It is also a showcase of the Chinese living heritage. The Street composed by three parts, namely rivers, houses and slate roads. The Ancient Street Zhonghuanshanhe is an important historic site which is also the center line of the Street. We will also be making special arrangement to take a boat ride of the Shaoxing special transport – the Wupeng Boat. It is a unique transportation of this Shaoxing Water Town and was gotten this name for its bamboo canopy being painted in black color. By taking the boat ride, you will experience the local customs as well as seeing the local lifestyle at both river banks. The boat ride will also bring you the natural lifestyles and its harmony. Thereafter, we will visit the Rice Wine City. Shaoxing rice wine is an outstanding representative of Chinese rice wine, is also golden name card of Shaoxing. The museum through a variety of means exhibit the history and culture of the essence of wine. The wine museum is divided into the wine arts hall, three-dimensional television room, underground wine cellar, etc., in order to allow visitors to have a feel better understanding of the wine culture. The wine city launched special the wine road show, wine appreciation and a series of special events, performances combine wine store wine road, open forum, wine tasting in one, with a dance interpretation of wine culture gentle, healthy spiritual content; wine appreciation through wine color is tasting flavor grid to guide you right to drink wine, wine essence of perception. Thereafter, we will visit the Luxun’s hometown to understand his authentic works. His residence is situated in the distinctive Shaoxing Street that whole street covers with slate stone that reflects the traditional Shaoxing style. You will see the typical river scenery with traditional architectural by the river banks and the Wupeng boat parked by the riverside. There are also traditional shops such as the dried vegetable shop, Fermented bean curd shop and Aniseed shop etc along the river bank. Note: If you are arriving Shanghai in the evening, dinner will be serving on board and stay in Shanghai for the first night.

DAY 2 |
SHAOXING – HANGZHOU
After breakfast, we will take a cruise ride at the picturesque West Lake where you will have eye opening scenery of the Gushan Hill, the Suti Bridge, the Baiti Bridge and the 3 man-made islands within the lake. You will also be able to see the beautiful scenic such as the Liulangwenying, the Long Bridge Park, and the Xiling Bridge as well. Next, we will take a stroll at the Huagangguanyu Park where you will see the golden red carp and the Peony Pavilion within the Peony Garden. Thereafter, we will visit the Southern Song Imperial Street which is an Architectural Museum of Hangzhou. It is a unique area in the urban that’s suitable for living, for trading and for relaxation, also known as the “First Street of China for Quality Lifestyle.” Next, we will visit the Former Residence of Huxueyan which was built in 1872 during the Qing Tongzhi Dynasty. The mansion project started during his career peak period and last for 3 years was completed in 1875. The residence is built of traditional Chinese architectural features a rich and quite beautiful western architectural style mansion, the former residence of either the building or to the indoor furniture from furnishings, called the late Qing Dynasty Chinese giant first mansion. Lastly, we will visit the West Lake Xintiandi when you will feel the bustling lifestyle of the West Lake.

HANGZHOU – YANGZHOU
This morning we will ascend the Chenghuang Pavilion which is one of the four renowned pavilions of Jiangnan. We will get to listen to bamboo music as well as taste the lotus root paste. The Chenghuang Pavilion is a Song and Yuan Dynasties ancient architecture with 7-storey high. DAY 4 |
YANGZHOU – WUXI
Early morning, we will enjoy the Yangzhou Morning Tea at the Lu Residence where there are varieties of the exquisite Yangzhou Tim Sum dishes. Thereafter, we will visit the Slender West Lake to admire its beautiful scenery. Compare to the West Lake in Hangzhou, you may describe one as a graceful young woman whilst the other one is a gorgeous fair lady. There are 24 bridges, the white pavilion, and the five pavilion bridge etc within the 10 miles of the Slender West Lake. You will experience the lean charm of the lake. Next, we will coach to the Pearl City by the Lake Taihu – Wuxi and will visit the Yuantouzhu Park which is a peninsular by the North West coast of the lake. The park got its name as it has a piece of stone sticking out to the lake resemble like a turtle head. The beautiful landscape of the park is the essence of Lake Taihu’s scenery; hence it is also renowned as the “No 1 sightseeing area of Lake Taihu”. The poet Guo Moruo once praised “The most beautiful part of Lake Taihu is at this Yuantouzhu Park!” Then we will visit the Purple Sand Clay pot Arts Gallery where you will learn the history and the processing of the Clay Teapot.

DAY 5 |
WUXI – SUZHOU
After breakfast, we will tour the Three Kingdom Film City (with tram ride), the filming site for The Three Kingdom. With the magnificent filming site, it will brings ones back to the war-torn era of the Three Kingdom. We will also be taking a cruise ride with the imitate Ancient Warship (subject to weather condition) for a breathtaking scenery of the Lake Taihu. We will follow by visit to the Lake Taihu Pearl Museum for some understanding of the breeding of the fresh water pearl. After lunch, we will coach to Venice of the East – Suzhou. We will first visit the Liuyuan Garden; built during the Ming Wanli Dynasty was also known as the East Garden. They were popularly known as “The four renowned Garden of China” together with Zhuozheng Garden, Yuhe Garden in Beijing and the Summer Resort in Chengde. Lastly, we will visit the Hanshan Temple which the poet Zhang Ji made poetry “There’s Hanshan Temple outside the Gusu city; you will hear its bell ring when pass by.”

SUZHOU – SHANGHAI
After breakfast, we will visit the Silk Factory for a Silk Fashion Show and some understanding of the Silk production. Next, we will coach to Shanghai. We will then proceed to the Nanjing Road Shopping District for some leisure shopping and enjoy the bustling charm of this shopping paradise. Thereafter, we will proceed to the Qibao Ancient Town where you will experience the beautiful scenery of the Jiangnan water town as well as you may savor the delicious Shanghainese Dumpling which it’s more delicious than the one at the Chenghuangmiao. Next, we will take a cruise ride at the Huangpu River for the beautiful scenery of the mother river of Shanghai. During the cruise, you may admire the beautiful scenery of The Bund, the beautiful bustling Shanghai city and the commercial buildings such as the Shanghai Global Financial Centre, the Shanghai Convention Centre etc.

SHANGHAI
After breakfast, we will ascend the landmark of Shanghai – the 100th floor of the Shanghai Global Financial Centre for a panoramic view of Shanghai. Next, we will proceed to the Tianmai Culture Centre where you will learn the profound Jade culture. Next, we will visit the Shanghai World Expo Memorial Exhibition where you will be able to experience the magnificent chapter of the Shanghai World Expo. If you are lucky enough, you may get to see the moving Qingming painting. Thereafter, we will taste the Pu’er Tea before we enjoy the leisure shopping time in Shanghai.
