ROTORUA

After breakfast, visit the beautiful Rainbow Springs Nature Park, home to thousands of trout and native birds, and meet the most popular New Zealand icon, the kiwi. Proceed to Agrodome Farm Show and watch sheepdogs and 19 breeds of sheep perform. Then, join the Farm Tour, in which you get to ride a tractor to hand-feed and take photos with many animals including llamas and alpacas. In the evening, enjoy a Te Po indigenous evening experience, in which you will savour a traditional hangi feast dinner and watch a Maori concert.

Travel to Matamata to experience Hobbiton Movie Set Tour where “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit” trilogies were filmed. Witness the setting of the movie with a large pine tree by the lake and the surrounding rolling countryside. Head to Waitomo and board a boat to explore the breathtaking interiors of Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Next, continue to Auckland for a city tour through this cosmopolitan City of Sails. Stop to admire the best views of Auckland Harbour Bridge, one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks, and Victorian buildings at charming Parnell Village.

Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival, enjoy a scenic ride to Oamaru and head to Moeraki Boulders, renowned for its natural and perfectly spherical boulders on the beach. Next, proceed to Dunedin which has a strong Scottish heritage.

This morning, start your city tour at Baldwin Street, which is known as the world’s steepest street. You will see the University of Otago, New Zealand’s oldest university and stop over stop over at Dunedin Railway Station, arguably the most photographed building in New Zealand. Continue to New Zealand’s only Castle, Larnach Castle to see the beauty of 14-hectare gardens and explore the historic house with magnificent carved ceilings. Thereafter, head to Speight’s Brewery and enjoy a beer tasting session.

DUNEDIN – CROMWELL – ARROTWOWN – QUEENSTOWN

After breakfast, head to Cromwell. Stop over at Mrs. Jones Fruit Orchard to shop for local fruits. At the banks of Kawarau River, you may go for optional jetboating adventure at your own expense. Next, visit the world’s first-ever commercial bungy jump at the Kawarau Bungy Bridge Lookout. Continue to Arrowtown which is surrounded by The Remarkable mountain range, making it a perfect stop to enjoy the view and explore this beautiful town. Thereafter, explore the town with your own free time.

Tonight, enjoy the Earth & Sky stargazing tour to explore the southern night sky. Besides, you may have chance to spot the Southern Lights if weather permits.

Stop at Farmer Corners’ Alpacas Farm where you will get the opportunity to feed the alpacas and purchase some local products. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour of Christchurch including Cardboard Cathedral, New Regent Street and local supermarket.
