DAY 1
SINGAPORE - COPENHAGEN (DENMARK)
Our vacation starts with a pleasant flight to Copenhagen, capital of Denmark. (Meals On Board)
DAY 2
COPENHAGEN - OSLO (NORWAY)
Upon arrival in Copenhagen, commence on a sightseeing tour as we visit The Little Mermaid, the statue inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale. Stop for pictures outside the Amalienborg Palace with its Rococo architecture and drive past Gefion Fountain and the Old Stock Exchange. Next, proceed to Hillerod where you will visit the magnificent Dutch Renaissance style Frederiksborg Castle, once a royal residence and now a national history museum. This evening, embark on our luxury overnight cruise to Oslo, Norway's capital and widely known as "the big-hearted city". (Meals On Board/Dinner)
DAY 3
OSLO — GEILO
Disembark from the cruise as we arrive in Oslo. Proceed to Vigeland Sculpture Park to view the controversial granite and bronze sculptures. Next, drive past the Old Cathedral and Royal Palace before we visit the unique Viking Ship Museum to see the ancient Viking Ships. After lunch, journey through magnificent scenery between Tyrifjord and Steinsfjord and lose ourselves to the glaciers as we drive past the rugged Hardanger Plateau to Geilo, a mountain village and ski resort in the narrow Hallingdal Valley. (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
DAY 4
GEILO — BERGEN — SOGNEFJORD (FJORDLAND)
This morning, you may enjoy a ride on the famous Flam Railway (at your own expense) gateway to the fjords and "the city between the seven mountains". Our sightseeing of Bergen features the colourful harbour Bryggen, the bustling Fish Market and views of the Haakon's Hall, the royal residence and banqueting hall built in the 13th Century. Travel through majestic glacier country and enjoy a scenic drive along part of the 100-mile Sognefjord, Norway's longest and deepest fjord before arriving at our hotel in Leikanger. (Breakfast/DInner)
DAY 5
SOGNEFJORD (LEIKANGER) — GEIRANGER
Today, descend to the village of Geiranger, surrounded by breathtaking scenery of fjords and mountains. Embark on Norway's most memorable Geirangerfjord cruise. Marvel at the spectacular landscape of this UNESCO World Heritage Site as we cruise to Hellesylt on mirror-smooth waters beneath towering cliffs and cascading waterfalls like the Seven Sisters Waterfall. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 6
GEIRANGER — LOM — LILLEHAMMER — HAMAR
Bid farewell to this wonderful world of soaring mountains, icy glaciers and glistening lakes, and proceed to Lom to visit the traditional Stave Church (Note: Visit to Lom Stave Church is subject to opening hours/days of operation). Continue through the long valley of Gudbrandsdalen to Lillehammer, host of the 1994 Winter Olympics. Drive along the shores of Norway's largest Lake Mjosa and overnight in the pleasant area of Hamar, nestling by the lake. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 7
HAMAR — KARLSTAD —STOCKHOLM (SWEDEN)
Today, depart Norway as we travel to Karlstad, located near Lake Vanern, the biggest freshwater lake in Sweden before we reach Stockholm, the capital of Sweden with its beautiful setting on 14 islands between Lake Malaren and the Baltic Sea. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 8
STOCKHOLM
Start the day with a visit to Stockholm City Hall, see the Gold Room which is covered with 19 million gold-plated mosaic tiles. Later, wander along the cobbled streets of the Old Town, known as Gamla Stan, before driving past the 17th Century Royal Palace. Afternoon at leisure to go shopping. (Breakfast/Lunch)
DAY 9
STOCKHOLM — JONKOPING
This morning, visit Drottningholm Palace, a UNESCO World heritage Site. It stands on an island in Lake Malar and is the finest example of an 18th-century northern European royal residence inspired by the Palace of Versailles. Later, travel southwards to the city of Jonkoping, located by the southern end of Sweden's 2nd largest lake — Vattern. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 10
JONKOPING — COPENHAGEN (DENMARK)
Today, upon return to Copenhagen, visit Carlsberg Brewery where you may get a chance to tour around the Brewhouse and view the production process, before sampling a freshly brewed Carlsberg beer. Thereafter, free at leisure for some last minute shopping. (Breakfast/Dinner)
DAY 11
COPENHAGEN - SINGAPORE
Bid farewell to Scandinavia with our departure transfer to the airport for our flight back to Singapore. We hope that you have had a memorable time with SA Tours! (Breakfast/Meals On Board)
