Singapore - Qingdao—Yantai

Assemble at ChangiAirport for our direct flight to Qingdao — the famous tourist city in Shandong province. Upon arrival, proceed to Qixia for a visit to Mou’s Manor, the largest landlord Manor in North China. Then you will learn how to do a Jiaodong Da Bobo, meaning big steamed bun. It is a traditional local snack usually served during Chinese New Year. We will thenhead for Yantai.

Yantai—Penglai—Zibo

In the morning, we will visit the Moon Bay and en route, enjoy a captivating scenery of Pear Flowers in the bloom, all from the comfort of the coach. Then,head for Penglai, the legendary home of the 'Eight Immortals' of Daoist mythology. You willvisit the Eight Immortals Scenic Area and view Penglai Pavilion from afar. For lunch, we will be having the Yantai Baxian Banquet, before continuing our coach ride to Zibo to explore Zhou’s village -once an important port in ancient north China.

Zibo—Mt.Taishan — Qufu

After breakfast, we will ride a cable car up Mt.Taishan (2-way cable car included)which ranks first among China's five sacred mountains. The main attractions on Mt. Taishan include the carvings on the cliff, South Gate, Tianjie and Yuhuang Peak, the topmost of the mountain. Then we will visit Baoshutang. After a good half day of exploring, we will have the Farmer’s Meal for lunch. We will arrive at Qufu by coach after a visit to the Pearl Shop. On the way to Qufu, we may see Peach Blossoms.* (*Depending on weather conditions & flower season. If not available, there will be no replacement).

Qufu— Heze Peony Garden —Jinan

Qufu is the hometown of Confucius and the “sacred city” of the East. We will visit theConfucius Mansion in the morning, to learn about the historical residence of the direct descendants of Confucius in the City of Qufu. From the mansion, the family tended to the Confucian sites in Qufu and also governed the largest private rural estate in China.Today, the mansion is a museum and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.With that, we will depart for Heze – home to China’s Peony Flowers. Upon arrival, visit Chaozhou Peony Garden, the largest of its kind in the world with the most number of species of peonies. Afterwards, we willhead for Jinan -- capitalof the Shandong province. Visit the picturesque Daming Lake and Qushuiting Street. Then have a pleasant walk along Kuan Houli Street.

Jinan Baihua Garden— Weifang—Anqiu—Gaomi

Morning, visit Jinan’s Baihua Garden to appreciate all the different kinds of flowers, like the begonia flower, tulips, magnolia flower, and many more. Then, we will head to Heihu Spring, one of the famous 72 pools. After that, coach to Weifang, where the origins of kite-making was said to have come about. At the Yangjiabu Folklore Garden, we can learn to make kites and do wooden painting on the spot.Also, we will visitthe World KiteMuseum &enjoy a different kite-flying experience.The Bailang Oasis Wetlands Park is a national 4A scenic spot located on the upper reaches of Bailang River - the main river in Weifang. Next, visit Jingzhi Town and the well-known Jingzhi Liquor Brewery in Anqiu before heading to Gaomi.

Gaomi — Qingdao

Gaomi, in Weifang City, is the hometown of China’s famous writer & Nobel Literature Prize winner Mo Yan, who had set some of his stories in the region. After breakfast, visit the filming site of TV series <Red Sorghum> where you can view the CanolaFlower(You Caihua); the fabulous yellow flower plants that blooms exceptionally in April. Then we will continue on our coach journeyto Qingdao and tour the Badaguan(Eight Passes)Scenic Spot which is well-known as an architecture museum. We will briefly visit the famous Catholic Church & Huiquan Bay and also take some time to admire Fushan Bay.Afterwards, proceed tovisit the famous Qingdao Beer Brewery, and then walk around the Sailing Base of the Olympic Games which had put forward a nice image of Qingdao as both the Ocean City and the Capital of Yacht.

Today, proceed to Zhongshan Park to see the beautiful Cherry Blossoms. Our nexthighlight will be the Little Fish Hill ParkandZhanqiao Pier, the landmark of Qingdao. Then, we will move on to a visit to Wusi Square and the Former Residence of Kang Youwei. Along the Sightseeing Path that is 12.8km long and 33m wide,you will be able to enjoy the sea view with its unique charms. Lastly, to wrap up the day’s activities, we will goto thevintage street, PiChaiYuan, where you can taste local snacks at own expense.
