JIUZHAIGOU

Today we will tour the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The scenic area is a ravine valley of 40 meters in depth of the Minshan Mountains and got its name from the 9 Tibetan villages within the scenic area. It is also known as “fairyland” and “paradise on earth” and was declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The natural scenery of Jiuzhaigou comprises of highland lakes, waterfalls, Snow Mountains and primitive forest. Its mountain peaks, colourful forest, emerald sea, waterfalls and the Tibetan tribe culture have been acclaimed as the “World’s 5 Wonders”. The main attractions of Jiuzhaigou are within the Rizegou, Zezhawagou and Shuzhenggou which include sites of unparallel beauty like Huohua Lake, Five-colour Pond, Pearl Beach, Pengjing Waterfall, Reed Marsh Lake, Long Lake, Jinghai Shuzheng Waterfall, Nuorilang Waterfall etc.（Chartered bus is recommended during peak season within Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area to ease the hassle of long queue for the ecologic bus.）

Today, we will coach pass the Ganhaizi highland lake, and cruise along the highway amidst in the primitive forest scenery and visit Huanglong Scenic Area* (*Huanglong Scenic Area will be included for departure between May to Oct). Huanglong is renowned for its colorful pools, Snow Mountains, valley and primitive forest. It got name by its unique landscape forest resemble like a golden dragon. Next, we will head back to the Qiang ethnic area – Maoxian and will visit The Ancient Qiang Ethnic Village (*Note: If the flight is delay due to unforeseen weather condition and unable to sightseeing Huanglong; we will be change to Munigou.)

MAOXIAN – YIBIN

We will coach to Yibin and will check in the Eden Resort Hotel where you can enjoy the Resort Spa at your own expense.

YIBIN –JIAJIANG

Stay at Jiajiang Weini Hotel or comparable
Today, we will enjoy a full day tour at the Sichuan Bamboo Forest which is one of the top 40 best China’s tourism sightseeing. The Colorful Waterfall with 10m in width and 81m in height was one of the main attractions. The waterfall is like a kaleidoscopic under the strong sunshine and that’s where it got its name. The Wangyou Valley is a narrow long valley that was shaded with abundance of bamboo. Next, we will ascend to the Guanhai Pavilion for a bird eyes’ view of the whole bamboo forest. The bamboo rafting is the local specialty and you may enjoy rafting within the beautiful paradise – Haizhonghai Lake and walk through the Emerald Gallery to see the fascinating types of bamboos. Lastly, we will take the cable car ride, hovering at the top of the bamboo forest for a bird eyes’ view of China’s spectacular bamboo forest. Thereafter, we will coach tour to Jiajiang.

After breakfast, we will proceed to Leshan. The statue 71 meters in height is the world’s first largest stone carved Buddha statue and has been listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thereafter, we will coach to Mt Emei. Mt Emei is one of the 4 famous Buddhism Mountains in China renowned for its breathtaking scenery, mysterious natural wonders and mythical Buddhism history. We’ll take a cable car ride to the Golden Peak to experience the capricious weather and beautiful scenery. At the Peak, we may walk along pathway to worship the 4- directions 10-faced Buddha, one of the 4 unique attractions, together with other sites like Jin Dian Hua Zang Temple and Yin Dian. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the famous wonder sights of the Golden Peak – the Sea of Clouds, the Buddha Rays, and Sacred Lamp etc.

After breakfast, take a stroll and explore the ancient Chengdu Culture at the Broad-Narrow Alley. It’s one of the 3 historic preservative areas of the Chengdu city. It comprises of the Broad Alley, the Narrow Alley and the Jing Alley as well as the surrounding Siheyuan residence that will reflects the Chengdu lifestyle. You may savor the local snacks at your own expense and also experience the local specialty such as cleaning of ears etc.
