PYONGYANG - MYOHYANGSAN

Welcome to Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea! Upon arrival, transfer to Myohyangsan; renowned as “mountain of mysterious fragrance” due to its mystic shapes and fragrances found in the area. Tonight, stay at Hyangsan Hotel, the only 5* hotel and the best hotel in this region.

MYOHYANGSAN - PYONGYANG

Good morning, kick off your visit to Pohyon Temple. Nestled in the wilderness of Myohyangsan, the temple is close to 1,000 years old and built during Koryo Dynasty. Next, visit International Friendship Exhibition, an exhibition of gifts presented to President Kim II Sung & General Kim Jong II. There are more than 100,000 gifts from 188 countries include gifts from Singapore. Highlights include beautiful train carriage presented from China and flight from Soviet Union Drive back to Pyongyamg, visit Mansu Hill Grand Monument where locals pay the respects in front of bronze statue of both leaders and make a photo stop at Chollima Statue. Thereafter, visit Kim II Square, one of the largest public squares in the world which uses for military parade and rallies. Walk to Foreign Language Bookshop with a vast range of North Korea books translated into different language. Overnight in Koryo Hotel, one of the best hotel in Pyongyang.

PYONGYANG - KAESONG - PYONGYANG

This morning, drive to the city of Kaesong, the old capital of the Koryo dynasty and visit the famous Panmunjom (DMZ). The 4km-wide, 240km-long buffer known as the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) slashes across the peninsula, that separated both North and South Korea. Be briefed by an army escort, and visit the Armistice Talks Hall. Next, visit Koryo Museum, listed under UNESCO world heritage site with precious Korean ancient antiques during Koryo dynasty. For lunch, savor the mouthwatering ginseng chicken with ginseng wine & Yakbap. En-route to Pyongyang, make a photo stop at Arch of Reunification before visiting Juche Tower. With 170m high, it is the world’s tallest stone tower and the symbol of the Juche ideology. (Admission included) to the top with breathtaking 360 degree view of Pyongyang City Landscape. After dinner, visit Kaeson Funfair (admission included) where locals play happily in the amusement park.

PYONGYANG - WONSAN - MOUNT KUMGANG

This morning, drive to the city of Wonsan, an eastern post city. On the way, visit Ulim Waterfall before arriving Wonson for your seafood lunch. Next, visit a Shoe Factory and understand the light industry of North Korea. Furthermore, you might have an opportunity to visit workers’ hostel and the dining rooms. Resume your journey to Mount Kumgang and enjoy the rural areas of North Korea with beautiful bucolic landscape.

MOUNT KUMGANG - WONSAN - MASIKRYONG SKI RESORT

Mount Kumgang, means ‘diamond mountain’, as the granite peaks and hillsides glitter in the sunlight, but they have different names in each season. The park is particularly beautiful during autumn foliage and regarded as one of the most beautiful mountains in Korea. Ascend from the car park to Kuryong Waterfall and enjoy picturesque mountains, forests, river and spectacular waterfalls. Inhale fresh air and enjoy breath-taking mountain sceneries. After lunch, visit Lake Of Samilpo, known as one of the 8 scenic wonders of east Korea. Drive back to Wonsan and visit Songdowon International Children’s Union Camp, stretching to 500 hectare as one of the largest children camps in the world. Interestingly, these camps consist of aquarium with dolphins and a mini bird park. Tonight, overnight at Masikryong Ski Resort, the luxury ski resort in North Korea which is built in 2014.


Note: Ascend to Kuryong Waterfall (return) requires 3.5 hours walking journey. Passengers may walk back with the guide at the 1st resting stop and rest at Mokran restaurant

MASIKRYONG SKI RESORT - PYONGYANG

After breakfast, visit The Tomb of Emperor Dongmyeong on the way back to Pyongyang. Next, understand Korea war in Victorious War Museum and visit US Spy Ship “Pueblo”, the only U.S navy ship held captivated by a foreign government. Pass by Ryugyong Hotel with 105-storey and 3,000 hotel rooms. The building remains unopened & has been called the tallest unfinished building in the world due to its constructions began since 1987.Thereafter, enjoy Pyongyang Circus with stunning aerobatics and acts. In order to understand local’s daily life, visit Kuangpok Shopping Centre, this is the only place where you can use the local money “Won” and enjoy shopping together with the locals.

This morning, visit Kumsusan Palace of the Sun , locals visit here to pay their respects to Kim Il-sung and Kim Jong-il, both of whom now lie embalmed in glass boxes. The mausoleum also features their personal items such as car, yacht and even trains carriage. Next, explore Rymyong Street, the latest high res building built in 2017 where majorities of residents are scientists and lectures. Amazingly, there is even 1 apartment with 70 storeys high which is the highest apartment building in North Korea. Next, ride on Pyongyang Metro Train Ride, the metro is among the deepest metros in the world with over 11o metres. Ride the metro with locals and admire the chandeliers on the ceilings, marble pillars and paintings in the station. Next, visit Arch of Triumph, the 2nd tallest triumphal arch in the world. Afterwards, visit Mangyongdae, the birth place of the president Kim II Sung. Then, join lovely children in Children’s Palace where you might have opportunity to walk around classes to see them practise extra-curricular activities such as calligraphy, playing traditional instruments and dancing. Enjoy world-class children performance. This evening, indulge in Duck BBQ with Shochu, YUM!
