This morning travel to the New Bedford Whaling Museum. See the material that inspired Herman Melville to pen his classic work, Moby Dick. Next, take a ferry over to the quaint island of Martha’s Vineyard. Continue to Oak Bluffs, known for its multi-coloured gingerbread cottages with storybook decorations, high-peaked roofs and dainty verandas. Get acquainted with the island on a tour, before reaching your hotel.

A Peaceful Cape Cod Escape

Return to the mainland today to visit the Heritage Museums Gardens - a mix of sweeping lawns, beautiful gardens, a windmill, art gallery, museum of Americana and collection of antique cars. Now on to your beach side hotel. The next day take a ferry to Nantucket Island for a guided tour of the cobblestone streets, Quaker-style homes and houses dating back to the whaling days. Enjoy your evening at leisure. The next morning’s excursion takes you to the Cape Cod National Seashore at the far end of the cape. Visit Chatham, the quintessential seaside town. Tonight, raise your glasses at a lively Celebration Dinner.
